About the Role
Accountabilities
• Responsible for successful delivery of multiple initiatives with high strategic importance and executional complexity supporting the portfolio roadmap.
• Work closely with the Platform-, Product Owners and Non-Drug Program Office Lead to define project charters with clear project scope and business benefit case.
• Collaborates with IT PMs and Business Leads in creation of well-defined implementation plans, resource plans and budgets for new initiatives and through program delivery time.
• Works closely with the Organizational Change Manager, and Platform-, Product Owners to define change management plans for projects and initiatives.
• Partners with the Program Office to prepare documentation for funding approval of projects in adherence to internal guidelines provided by the Governance bodies.
• Responsible for understanding and communicating project interdependencies and constraints; driving clarity of critical path.
• Identify risks and recommend corrective responses, as necessary, to improve performance
• Serves as a single point of contact in supporting functional subject matter experts and/or project team members.
• Drive user-centricity in our approach to developing solutions by embracing design thinking methodologies and collaborating with user experience design experts.
• Maintains strong stakeholder engagement and provides appropriate level of communication throughout project’s life-cycle.
Activities & Interfaces
Partners with IT Delivery Business Partners, Platform-, Product Owners and Innovation Leads, Finance and other GCO functions to deliver new technology and innovation solutions that will create competitive advantage, enhance capabilities and enable cutting edge approaches in drug development.
Monitors and ensures the quality of planning and execution of non-drug project delivery and the effective use of resources for success project delivery. Acts a single point of contact to the Non-Drug Program Office for non-drug projects in charge of.
Ability to lead Non-Drug Project teams with authenticity ensuring successful development of these communities and translating their knowledge of GCO’s processes, industry trends and external environment into applicable tools and processes.
Key Performance Indicators
• Established robust program delivery plan for initiatives responsible, showing key milestones and key dependencies
• Initiatives (medium/large complexity) delivered to agreed scope, budget and timelines
• Compliant forecasting and cost-effective delivery of non-drug project (medium/large complexity)
• Invests in continuous learning on an ongoing basis, has a good understanding of user design principles and methodologies, and a baseline understanding of relevant technological tools (e.g. AI/ML)
